Know What You're Buying
Demystifying cannabis products. Straight answers, no fluff.
Live vs. Cured
Live
Harvested and flash-frozen immediately. Preserves the full terpene and cannabinoid profile of the living plant.
Fuller flavor, more complex effect
Cured
Dried and cured before processing. Different terpene profile — more mellow, slightly different effect.
Smoother, traditional experience
Rosin vs. Resin
ROsin — "O" for Solventless
Heat and pressure only. No chemicals. The trichomes are separated using ice water, heat, or mechanical pressure. Hash rosin is the top end of the market.
Nothing is added, nothing is removed except
the plant material itself.
REsin — "E" for Extracted
Extracted using a solvent (hydrocarbons, ethanol, CO2, etc.). Done correctly, the solvent is fully purged and the final product is safe and clean.
Most carts and many concentrates on the
market are resin-derived.
Easy way to remember: ROsin = O for solventless. REsin = E for extracted.

New to Cannabis?
Start Low. Go Slow.
If you're new to cannabis or trying a new product, start with a low dose and wait to see how it affects you before taking more. Effects can take 30 minutes to 2 hours for edibles, and are nearly immediate for inhalation.
You can always take more. You can't take less.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the Difference between Indica and Sativa?
Indica and sativa are traditional classification categories for cannabis strains. Indicas are often associated with relaxing, sedative effects, while sativas are thought to be more energizing. However, modern research suggests that terpene profiles and individual cannabinoid ratios matter more than indica vs. sativa labels. The best approach is to ask your budtender about specific effects and try strains to find what works for you.
What does THC% Actually Mean?
THC percentage tells you the concentration of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in the product. A flower testing at 20% THC means 20% of the dry weight is THC. Higher isn't always better — terpenes, other cannabinoids, and your personal tolerance all play a role in the experience. At Primal, we report honest test results, so you can trust the numbers on our labels.
What is a Terpene?
Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in cannabis (and many other plants) that contribute to flavor and effect. Common cannabis terpenes include myrcene (earthy, relaxing), limonene (citrus, uplifting), and caryophyllene (peppery, anti-inflammatory). Terpenes work together with cannabinoids in what's called the "entourage effect" to shape your overall experience.
How do I store my cannabis Products?
Keep out of reach of children. Keep cannabis in a cool, dark, dry place. For flower, use an airtight container away from direct sunlight to preserve terpenes and prevent degradation. Concentrates should be stored in silicone or glass containers, also in a cool, dark place. Edibles follow their labeled expiration dates. Proper storage maintains potency and flavor.
What's the difference between live rosin and live resin
Live rosin is solventless — made with ice, water, heat, and pressure. No chemicals. Live resin is extracted using solvents (like butane or ethanol) but made from fresh-frozen plant material. Both preserve terpenes well, but rosin is considered the premium, solventless option. Remember: ROsin = "O" for solventless. REsin = "E" for extracted.
What's a 510 Cart?
A 510-thread cartridge is the most common vape format in cannabis. The "510" refers to the thread size on the bottom of the cart, which fits the vast majority of standard vape batteries.
If you have a battery already and aren't sure if it works — if it's a twist-bottom battery or a standard pen, it almost certainly takes 510 carts.
Safe Product, Every Time
We test every batch. We use labs we trust. When numbers come back lower than expected, we run them anyway. We don't submit our product to labs known for inflating results.
The Oklahoma cannabis market has real problems with testing fraud. It exists. We're not part of it.
